DCFC1388
Same deal as before, about time the EFL started pushing for better money & getting rid of parachute payments Edited May 13, 2021 by DCFC1388 Curtains
Srg
I’m baffled how it went through like that. There were huge bids from other players yet they never got to take it any further.

Yani P
Every championship side should only play their U18s v the relegated Premier League teams for a season as a form of protest against the ridiculous loaded system that continues to rule.. angieram
Okay, so if the EFL is saying this: "Championship clubs in particular face impossible economic pressures, seeking to gain promotion to the Premier League, which has in turn led to untenable financial speculation and irrational behaviour." Why is it then that they are seeking to add further distress by hounding those clubs? It is good to see them acknowledging that the current system is broken, but do something about it rather than punishing those who fall foul of it. GenBr
Do the efl not control the rules in their own leagues. I know the wage cap in L1 and L2 got shot down and isnt happening now, but surely they have the power themselves to institute certain financial controls if thats what their members want?
