i-Ram
Strange really, that taking poo of the pitch for a couple of months will improve it. Dethorn and Alph 1

Rambam
They re-lay the pitch every season. So what? Apart from last year due to the pandemic.
S8TY
Did we not pay a fortune to have some synthetic weave sown in with the grass when Clement was here I think ? Cost a fortune, our pitch was an embarrassment last season but did look a lot better towards the end of the season

We don't do it for free - that is the point. If Mel decided to pay for it that gives us a little bit of good news at least.
Rambam
It has to be re-laid though. Standard procedure to maintain the integrity of the surface. The only difference 2019/20 was the season had to be extended due to COVID which left it in a terrible state when the bad weather arrived, leading to a sub standard surface going down. The pitch was fine at the beginning and the end of the season - shame we lost most of those games. When the pitch was shocking, we beat Swansea, Bournemouth, Bristol City, Boro & Huddersfield on it. Maybe the EFL will investigate whether we gained an advantage ? angieram, Anag Ram and archram

Alty_Ram
It wasn't necessary really but apparently there were some very specific areas of wear, particularly at the back post where opposition strikers have been standing around unchallenged all year.
