Derby vs Sheff W (H) Matchday Thread

Recommended Posts

This is horrible. But completely deserved. We are definitely one of the worst three teams in the division - possibly the worst - and this game shows exactly why. Not enough talent, aimless passing, lacking ideas, massive holes in key areas. Our 'good' players aren't as good as we think, and neither are our young players. Praying for a miracle but either way there's a hell of a rebuilding job for someone

Not sure it should have been a throw in to them, Forsyth didn't touch it, however we defend like lemons. Can't see us scoring. Goodnight Vienna. Hello League 1 oblivion.

Unless, maybe just maybe 🤔

I can only presume that we're trying long throws with Edmundson because it worked really well for Brum against us a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we've not considered that it's wet, we don't have many players who are good in the air, and most importantly Edmundson is about 10 yards short of having a dangerous long throw.

So poor. Not strong enough on the first header from Fozzy, who ended up playing the goalscorer onside.

Jordan Rhodes of all people was able to get a header away from about 7 yards out, how?!

Kelle Roos is a professional ducking goalkeeper. He's not stretching for the ball. Yes it's a decent reaction save, but how the duck is he not pushing that away from goal. Palming it straight back into the goalmouth just puts it on a plate for them to tap in. Poor all round. I could maybe accept Barry Bannan or Adam Reach curling one in to the top corner from 25 yards, but that's simply unacceptable today of all days.
