I worked at Heysham nuclear power station which is just 3 miles around the bay from Morecambe.

Although Morecambe has been a run down place for many years it has now improved the promenade and there is an excellent hotel - The Midland, which serves good food and drinks.

Morecambe people are very friendly, which I find with all Lancastrians, and if we ever play them, I'll certainly take a weekend stop-over.
