Saying this since the start and looking at our position under Rooney, it's hard to seriously disagree. On another thread somewhere wasnt it posted that we had an ever so slightly better win % with Cocu than Rooney?(and under Cocu, quite a few more draws!, hence urgently needed points right now) Rooney also had Bielik, which Cocu did not and is a major reason we even have so many points under Rooney. Rooney is carp but cocu was carp of a whole different level. It has gone very wrong but please don’t hark back to the halcyon days of cocu. One of our best games, there are not many to chose from was boro at home, no bielic, one of our worst ,far more choice, was rovrum at home, with bielic. The loss of bielic the was Rooney played him was a massive loss but with cocu I believe we would hp have been relegated by now. Gee SCREAMER !!
So mcclaren has no input at all in the team as suspected. G-Ram
Why didnt the players celebrate going 1-0 up ?♂️ had they forgot what to do when they score. Kaz just knocked it in but there was no real celebration after. Rammy03 and Deej

LeedsCityRam
It's the thought process that I'm struggling with. Biggest game for ages, a big opportunity to get a positive result & we go back to a timid, defensive line up. Knight & Shinnie in midfield offering very little quality, a diet of long balls onto the heads of very capable opposition CBs & a total inability to string more than 3 passes together. The lead flattered us at half time, it was a total 50/50 game with very little quality shown & nothing of note happening that first 25 mins. Brum then switched off on their right side & credit to Buchanan for the measured cross & Kazim for his positioning to finish. Second half, Bowyer tweaks their formation & they started getting on top. If your entire MO is copying the opposition, why wouldn't you do it when they switch & start taking charge of the game? The marking for both of their goals was just criminal & is becoming an increasing habit. Its just too easy. Throwing Jozwiak & Roberts on after 86 mins was just insulting & totally pointless given we just launched the ball into their box that last 10 mins...and by then Kazim had gone off. Totally clueless & yet another failure to beat a bottom half side. I have no faith in this team or management to earn another point. Over to you South Yorkshire. England Ram
28 minutes ago, DCFClks said: He's never had good effort, it's his number one weakness. But for me the main question is why are we relying on our Left Forward to close down opposition wingers when we're playing 5 at the back? to me none of the midfielders looked like they knew what they were doing all game. They weren't even used in any attack, they were just completely bypassed with hoof balls. Why was he not running of the front man? why was he miles away from CKR? to me these are tactical questions. What would have been the point in him running off the striker anyway? like he was ever going to get a pass... lol, to be fair they are good points. I think what infuriated me the most is when you need all 11 of you to really put that effort in we let someone who didn’t, stay on for his apparent ‘ability’ to score out of nothing.
