Well...if we lose on Saturday, they beat Forest, draw with us the following week they go above on goal difference. I think.

Look, surely if they can't pull their finger out to save themselves, they can at least grab a win against Swansea to send Wednesday down out of spite?

Team talk "today is the day, we can play a critical part in the future of football, today we write history....today we send sheff Wednesday back to the hell portal from whence they came. Also, it'd help us not go there, but don't think about that, just think of owl tears"

Wycombe, Sheff Wed, Rotherham, Derby, Huddersfield and Coventry have been the struggling teams this season and the stand out missing ingredient is an out and out goalscorer. Even Birmingham, Forest and Bristol have lacked goals to win matches. Will be interesting next season for Blackburn if they lose their 24yr old Adam Armstrong who has scored 25 goals for them.

If we stay up and the takeover is all sorted, the club must find a couple of goal scorers before even looking at improving in other positions on the pitch. Getting back to the the relegation battle, Rotherham have now lost the most games in the Championship. So they are in a relegation slot for that reason. The bottom 7 clubs, Derby have conceded the least, but have scored the least. If we had a 25 goals scorer this season we might have finished 10th. Lets hope Blackburn with Alan Armstrong can do us a favour on Saturday. Also the Red dogs putting Sheff Wed to the sword. A good performance at Swansea could see us getting a draw.

But don’t we need someone to create goals for the 25 goal scorer ?

Best way to look at it= Sheff Wed need to win both games to avoid relegation and also rely on Rotherham only getting 5 points maximum in their 3 matches and also hope Derby do not win at Swansea.

Derby need to win both matches and they can't be caught by Rotherham.

Rotherham need to win at least 2 of their 3 remaining games providing the Rams lose their 2 matches to stay up or only pick a point. If Derby get 3 points out of their 2 remaining games Rotherham would need to win 2 and draw the other game.

Huddersfield will only get relegated if they lose both games, Rotherham win all 3 of theirs and Derby gain 4 points in their 2 games.

My money is on Huddersfield to stay up. I have not included Wycombe because they need a miracle to stay up.
