Wednesday are a bit like us. They took 15 points from 7 after parting with Pulis but then lost 5 on the trot (now 6).

fine margins?

Donny were on a bad run. 1 point from 5 games. They seem to be back in the groove now he’s gone.
maybe it was the right time for both parties.

Agree with this.

Personally I'd have a rule that doesn't allow a club to recruit a new manager during the season. If the manager leaves or is sacked they would have to recruit from within/use a current employee as caretaker.

The real disappointing bit is that Daz didn't turn them down and tell them he'd got a job to do at Donny.

Interesting idea and cover both bases in terms of managers moving and being sacked.

It’s a double edged sword for managers- do well but then hit a run of bad form and you could be out on your ear no matter how good a job you’ve done.

In many ways it doesn’t surprise me when managers move given the instability of their position. If things go against you, you could be only 5-10 games from getting the chop.

Bit of a vicious circle!
