Who’s next?

Stoke?

Bristol City?

Hull?

Cardiff?

Huddersfield?

Swansea?

Any team who’ve come down and not gone back up or a team like our who have aspirations to get up to the Prem.

We could be involved in our own mini league of docked teams if things carry on.
Then the EFL will look like a complete shambles won’t it?  The bigger teams are suppressed, so the smaller clubs get promoted then they come back down and join the rest of us.

Not them. Squeaky clean. The chairman doesn't offset millions of pounds of debt annually by converting it into shares or anything.  Not sure how many years he can do that for, each one must be worth 10 p by now.  Or Boro moving club debt from one entity to another, all fandabidosi.

Imagine Gibson's face if 4 or 5 clubs get docked with us and we survive! #bamford

He will be happy unless one of those clubs is his.  Can’t believe he would prefer us to be hit rather than 3 others.  It just takes 4 clubs out of competition with boro.  Can we change#bamford to #morris please

Stoke must have broken the limits. The exception being if the EFL allow their Covid impairment.p

Forest seem to be as close to the limit as they could possibly be.

Blackburn are on risky ground.

Boro appear to have cut costs sufficiently to not be in trouble.

Bournemouth will likely have to make massive cuts if they stay down another season.

I doubt any others are even remotely close to the P&S limit.

With the 3yr rolling rule. It must be bloody hard to mitigate (Borenmouth) in a single year cost cutting?

We didn’t think we were, and we’re told that too.

It's not likely to relegate them this season, but you wonder what kind of season they would have had last season if they hadn't been allowed to sign as many players as they did, including some expensive loan signings.

Watch the furore among other Championship clubs be a fraction of what it was over DCFC's transgressions.

Got a non-paywall version of that?

Reading are facing the threat of a second points deduction in 18 months by the Football League.

The Championship club could be punished with sanctions after allegedly breaching the EFL’s business plan, following their six-point deduction in Nov 2021.

Reading are under threat of being deducted another six points if they are found guilty by an independent disciplinary commission.

The EFL declined to comment on Wednesday.
