U23s vs Arsenal (H)

Live on RamsTV at 1900 tonight.
The U23s resume their season following a month off agasint an Arsenal side who will be doing everything the can to avoid the drop. During that break, our Div 1 status was mathematically confirmed with 5 games still to play.

With our league status confirmed, expect to see some of the U18s  get more game time over the next few games. We could also see Duncan who has just returned to training.

My expected lineup:

Foster
Ebosele   Solomon   JBrown   Cashin   Archie
Dixon   LThompson
JML   Cybulski   Wilson

Subs: Sykes-Kenworhy, Bateman, Williams, Aghatise, Duncan

Just think what that team would look like with Bird, Knight, Sibley, Buchannan, McDonald and Stretton in the mix not to mention those out on loan

A full strength side of U23s would probably beat our current first team ?

Foster
Ebosele   Edmundson   Mengi   Buchanan
Bielik
Bird   Knight
Sibley                    Jozwiak
Stretton

Good luck lads, show the first team how it’s done! You’ll be playing them in the Papa John’s trophy next season!

Despite currently having the 6th best U23 side in the country, relegation to L1 means the U23s would be 25th in line to play in the Papa John's Trophy, with the highest 16 to accept an invite participating.

You really like to have a dig at every opportunity, don't you? There's plenty of time to be miserable when you're old!

Don't throw him in with us elder statesmen. I am old and I am no way miserable.

Loving life and living it to the fullest (current restrictions aside)

Yes, I do apologise. I thought everyone knew that I am old, too!

I suspect three at the back, although no natural left-back / wing-back. Tyree Wilson maybe as he has played there before.

Two trialists on the bench.

Sykes-Kenworthy

Ebosele   Bateman   Cashin   JBrown

Dixon   LThompson

JML   Wilson   Shonibare

Cresswell
