Ilsonram12
Yeah get rid of Rooney and let the players out of contract leave plus the loanees then get a magic wand and shake it all around ? Stability is what this club needs and until the ownership is solved and the manager can get his players in we will continue to spiral downhill, Rooney knows this squad isn't good enough but has no resources or plan to fix at the moment

Cocu would have had Bielik fit if we'd stuck with him, and we'd probably be out of it anyway. Yeah what a **great** job he's done, having scored less than half the goals we scored last season. You mean scoring half the amount of goals we did last season without the greatest ever English goal scorer in our team.?

Rubbish coach? Just stick with them, obviously. It's not like the Championship has dozens of clear examples of coaches coming in who automatically improve the team. Oh wait. Let’s be fair he started off ok.......had some good games was fairly influential for a couple of months. But he went of the boil fairly quickly and came back for this season looking out of shape and was totally off the pace. It became a bit embarrassing in the end! Think seeing himself looking very red in a pink shirt that clearly showed off the holiday weight, made the decision to stop playing a no brainer. What has Rooney showed to make you think he's the right manager? Why have performances under Rooney got gradually worse overall since his first game? Why do we need to stick with a manager who might not be good? Reading had a terrible pre-season, got a new manager and are in the top 6. I still think there's enough quality in the team to at least not be in a relegation battle. Edited April 5, 2021 by DCFClks Chris_Martin

But we are now 10 points off the bottom of the league, which is where we were when he took over... Ok that's one stat which has more to do with how the bottom team play's. What about this: Rooney's been in charge for 26 games, in his first 13 games we were 6th in the form table, in his last 13 games we are 14th. In the last 5 games we're 22nd in the form table. The defence has definitely got worse, 8 conceded in the first 13 games, 17 conceded in the last 13 games. Chris_Martin

Let me guess........ The reason is NOT that we are attacking a lot more and scoring hatfuls more goals.... ?
