I really don't like the idea of a guy who is openly far right, with limited cash of his own, coming in to become the figure head of a unknown consortium. A 29-year-old at that.

I know nothing about the fella, but if that's true about him, I'm out!

29?  Twenty effin' Nine!!!   He should be nowhere near my football club at that age!  The bloody nerve of the fella!

Can anyone tell me where this idea of him being 'openly far right' has come from?

I have googled it, and the only things I can find are gossip on OwlsTalk and Twitter - with nothing to substantiate it.

He literally stood as a Senate candidate for the far-right VOX party in Spain who run on an anti-immigrant, anti-feminist, anti-gay, authoritarian platform.

I’ve nothing against Spanish owners, as long as they don’t make us eat that Spanish food in the concourse.  It’s all fish heads chicken and rabbit bones and sea shells, with a few sticklebacks for starters.

Well I’d love some tapas stands and some decent red wine. Steaming Paella on a rainy Wednesday night worth a try. Whatever your Brexit position, European food makes plastic American franchise stuff look distinctly none league. Bring on the patatas bravas

Bracing myself for impact ?

Now are we going to be Real Derby County or Atletico Derby County and will sheep heads be thrown at Forest fans ? Ole ole ole ole.

There’s been a suggestion that he stood for election in Spain for the Vox Party, who I believe are a far-right group:

The election bumf shows "Eric".

The No Limits statement is signed by "Erik".

I can understand the confusion with the Sheikh's identity, what with their royal family all having the same name, but jeez, you'd think it'd be a bit easier with our fellow Europeans!

Great - I wasn't overly keen on an owner with links to a fairly dubious UAE regime, but at least it was indirect and some allowances could be made for cultural differences. Now it seems Mel is selling the club to someone who is so far right that he has stood for election as a representative of an actual neo-Fascist party.

Getting harder to justify that season ticket.

Eric is the name stated on the Companies House director list:

I agree btw.

Our next season's kit better not have brown shirts!
