Although the one time in the first half when a good weighted pass would have put Jozwiak through, he completely scuffed the pass which is why he’s a limited player with a foundation of effort which has got him to where he is. Jozwiak doesn't look interested, hasn't done for several games, Sibley non existent and the others as bad. Rooney have them a chance and they haven't taken it. Couple of rough games and right back in it. As someone said play your best team to win every time. If players tire thats why there are 5 subs. Obviously trying to break cardiff by playing like for like and trying to combat their system. Thing is their system works for them because they know how to play it with a manager of 30 years showing them the ropes. This is my first doubt over Rooney and co. Let them worry about our players and the way we want to play. If he believes we are going to be a good team then let them play. Players hiding is still a problem. From bird now shinnie but sibley as proven to be a master at it tonight. Derby main threats are colin and Byrne. Without them in the team we are not going to cause any problems for the opposition. So this was always going to be a problem to get anything out of the game even if we played our strongest team. 3 points against Coventry is a must given the rest of the fixtures in March.
