The result isn't a shock after seeing that team sheet and set-up. Seriously hope that isn't the management team believing a hype, almost a lack of respect to the competition of the Championship...it was that "off". I hate losing games like this, rather get trashed knowing we've given it a shot, tonight we've turned up to fulfil a fixture, nothing more. Not sure I understand the tinkering in defence, we were solid as a rock for weeks, I thought the problem was our lack of creativity and goals, not defence.

And the lack of bravery?

Shinnie and Jozwiak both with a chance to drive at goal? Nah, you’re alright I’ll take it towards the corner flag.

Shocking, just shocking.

No CKR to play off or to move defenders about, so all they've got to run towards is trouble -  it's no surprise they run to where the opposition aren't, it's the only open space they can see.

But when you take away the stability in defence then it just exposes the total lack of attacking threat and a cutting edge which has been constant all season.

I know it's early doors but Roberts isn't cutting it for me already. Jozwiak is rapidly turning into a huge disappointment and if we think that Waghorn will be our saviour then Christ we have issues.

Shinnie can't pass. We need someone who can.

It's not even just that he can't pass, he's woeful at actually offering for the ball and getting himself into space. It's a big reason why our play in and around midfield looks so stagnant at times and it's a major driver of why you'll see it going sideways at the back because rather than dropping into space and giving an easy ball he's a statue and practically marks himself out of the game.

I lost count of the number of times  tonight where there was a little pocket of space for him to drop into to help out.

And it was such a crying relief to see both Bird and Watson do that basic thing of actually moving in that second half.

He takes a decent penalty though.

Shame we don't get into the opposition's half to contrive to make one.

The league is so poor this year

This league as been poor for years. Any team that can consistently put in half decent performances will easily get into the play-offs.

No both had the choice to drive into the box and try and get a shot off.

Believe me static strikers is a pet hate but this wasn’t the case here.

I love you man (see the drink is beginning to work ?) but there’s no defending any of them tonight.

And Cardiff? Call me entitled but who the eff are Cardiff?

this was worse than anything cocu cocked up,its getting unbearable to watch.

rooney needs to stop this cocu tinkering and get us back to the quick tempo passing game we had before christmas and stop the obsession with the opposition before we lose all confidence and get dragged back into the mire

This made me wonder how much of the silly tinkering under cocu was also due to the influence of our championship specialist no2.
