Waghorn’s been poor all season but every now and then you see glimpses. set pieces, runs in behind, the odd good finish. When he gets the ball you imagine there’s a 1% chance he might do something.

Whereas Jozwiak is like a poor man’s Abdul Camara atm

Rubbish, he's not getting involved enough neither him nor Buchanan, but when he does he can attack with the ball.

Played ok for the first 30. Been way off it since. Young lads all having a bit of stage fright, zero quality on the ball. Be nice to see them grow a bit in the second half and make a name for themselves ala Hendrick 10 men.

Perfect away performance from Forest so far, playing like a mature, well drilled side and a lovely couple of slices of luck to boot.

Funny isn’t it how “supporters” demand positivity from the team while delivering a stream of negative drivel themselves!

We’ve not been great, and the goal shook us a bit, but why do so many want to leap on any negative points that they can, rather than look to the positives?

Interesting watching the game with no artificial crowd noise. We are incredibly meek and quiet as a team. This is part of the issue alluded to in another thread about referees and being streetwise. When the gump player saved the ball on the line, every single Derby player needs to be shouting at the ref for the pen. Instead there was just a polite appeal from Colin. Of course it's a shocking decision by the ref that might cost us the game, but we gave him the easy way out by not putting pressure on him.

Then a terrible miss by Knight from the corner and awful blunder by Marshall for the goal. I'm glad we've got to HT and can sort ourselves out, but we need urgency and dynamism like never before, but instead would rather turn backwards than run forward and are strolling around lackadaisically at the back (yes I'm looking at you Andre).

We were much the better team before the goal, but we weren't doing enough. We need to do a lot now.

Felt we didn’t have a clue how to break them down. We miss an incredibly easy chance

Answered your own question. We did know how to break them down, we missed a sitter. Asking for trouble when you don't take your easy chances though.

Looks like Bird has put his shinpads on his feet and his boots on his shins, a tad disappointed he hasn't kicked on like some of the other academy lads. Not a great half but Forest offered nothing either, terrible mistake which we're going to pay for unless we can find some creativity in the 2nd half. Unfortunately we've given them something to defend now.

I think Bird would be more suited to playing on the left of a midfield 3 or even in the no.10 position in a 4-2-3-1. Yes he is fairly good at controlling the game and keeping the ball, but he is just not a natural defensive mid. He's probably our most creative CM so get him further up the pitch.
