How do you know they haven’t banned him because he is lying and promoting doubt?

You say it’s essential, well worth the investment and a very good one.

Is that because you agree with all of his points?

He’s in a minority. I’m not saying he is wrong, but why believe him over the majority?

Who are Twitter to be deciding what is sound medical advice or not?

What are their processes for deciding what should and should not be published?

Do they have qualified medical staff in their ranks?

Or are they guided by the Government?

Genuine questions, don't know the answer.

Also how do you know what the minority is, if everyone that disagrees with the 'majority' is blocked from giving their opinion?

Opinions are dangerous when people spread them around as fact.

Social media have a huge dilemma. Do they govern their own sites in a biased way? Or are they trying to prevent lies being spread as facts?

I don’t know the answer. But it would be a seriously dangerous place if left unfiltered.

As for being guided by the government. I think Donald Trump would object to that.

I don’t make my decisions based on what other random people do or say. I try to base my decisions on science and the majority of the experts recommend.

Ideally everyone would do the same but that evidently isn’t the case.

Nope, definitely not interested in right wing bullshitters. Also not interested in videos filled with emotive shock-jock outrage. Happy to read anything you like though, it's fine, I have a concentration span.

The left wing cancel culture mob are giving Joe Rogan a hard time because he does shows with Peter Schiff who criticises socialism on a regular basis.
I for one will listen to what he has to say about covid then make my mind up.

How can you decide what the majority of the experts say when many of the  experts are blocked?

Basically youre saying that you agree with the majority of what you are allowed to read.

Of course if you do steer away from MSM, and review a wide range of opinions, this may not be the case.

Is he in a minority?  He states that there are many like him questioning 'the science' but for a number of reasons are unable to speak up.

Have you have listened to the podcast?  What points did he raise that you disagree with?  Unless you listen to the podcast you have no idea what arguments Dr Malone made or how well/thoroughly he backed them up.

FWIW, Dr Malone made a good point about his unjust and temporary LinkedIn ban.  They eventually reinstated him and wrote to him apologising, stating they weren't remotely qualified to question his opinions.

Started feeling a bit under the weather Thursday night and sensed it was Covid. Both got tests yesterday, hers came back clear, mine not. She had a nasty variant back in the early days of the pandemic and despite being mid-thirties and very fit and healthy, it was touch and go for a while, so she'll be away while I self-isolate. Better safe then sorry and all that.

Word of warning; I don't have the Omicron symptoms, rather the temperature, coughing, sore eyes and tight chest associated with earlier variants, so be aware that the potentially nasty ones are still out there. No sermons, just be mindful peeps!

Get well soon pal

How do you know many of the experts are blocked? And how do you know they are experts on the subject in hand in the first place?

Yeah fair point, I have no idea who the experts are.

I listen to views and do have a look at the credentials at the people that I am listening to/reading about.

How about you?

I listen mainly to instructions from the WHO and leading figures on the matter. Also my Mum is a big influence too on health matters as she worked at the NHS for years.

Yeh but but but how do you know the Who are experts. Unless you can provide me with the qualifications of all their staff on this forum, I'm going back to listening to Eamonn Holmes and that Herbert off Talk Sport who thinks you can grow concrete

Leading figures? And where do the 'leading figures' air their views?

By the sound of it, you get your views from MSM.

No problem with that but don't really think it gives you a platform to tell us who the experts are.

I don't recall any of the band suggesting you shouldn't wear a mask.

Fact check yourself. Joe Rogan has stated himself he has never voted Republican. He has only ever voted Democrat or left-wing independants.

Stay away from Twitter.

Yeah but to be fair, who is right wing bullshitter Joe Rogan to be telling people how he voted? Maybe he should check Twitter or DCFCFans first to see how he voted?

I imagine if you go walking round a red wall town now, you won't find anyone who voted for Johnson!

I think you're wrong.

I'm hating the current Government but I would still not change my vote if I could rewind the clock.

My chance to show my disgust will be at the next General Election.

Leading figures are asked to air their views for a reason. In this case I listen to leading figures issuing their views on behalf of science and the WHO.

I take podcasts with a big pinch of salt. Most are run by the hosts whose main objective is to get highly controversial views out there to attract a higher number of listeners, and thus with the objective of generating more income for themselves.
