He has had 1 start and while he made mistakes, looked far more positive & creative than Waghorn did. Against Wycombe, him & Byrne changed the game when they came on. Clear to see he has that game changing quality & can actually beat a man. Waghorn has played nearly every game this year and been poor week after week. He needs a break as his confidence is gone. Slightly harsh on leaving Bird out as I thought he was the pick of the 3 midfield players on Friday, but Knight & Shinnie have been superb this season. Knight far better when not playing as a 10. Unsighted possibly - think it also took a slight deflection. I’d focus more on the poor defending at fault for the second tbh. Don’t think Marshall could of done much about it. Roberts not strong enough or determined enough to make the clearance. Then Edmundson stands still rather than go block the shot. Good finish by Hughes but certainly avoidable from us.
