Ghost of Clough
442, but it's got the feel of a 424! With the way Byrne and Buchanan like to play it's almost 244 ? Marshall Byrne Wisdom Clarke Buchanan Knight Shinnie Waghorn Kazim Gregory Jozwiak
Jase116
Or 4222?

Leeds Ram
I'd personally play a 4-3-3 with roberts and Jozwiak on the wings with a midfield 3 of Bird, Knight and Sibley but let's see how this does.
Derbados
Looks like the instruction will be to get it wide and swing crosses in for Gregory and CKR to attack with their aerial threat.
Shuff264
Don't see it being 4-4-2, Waghorn can't fit that. 4-2-3-2 maybe more likely with Gregory as a sort of 10? Or 4-2-2-2 which you don't see too often, could be fun

It’ll be interesting to see how the wingers and fullbacks work as they’ve been linking up quite well up to now. I’d imagine if the “wingers” have to play more like traditional wingers than more recently inside forwards, then there’s potential for getting in each other’s way as Byrne and Buchanan certainly get up and down the flanks! Rab a dab doo
I think were going for cross's into the box and a bit of physicality up top for change hoping the wide players and midfield pick up the pieces. I very forward thinking team. Rooney out for 3 points.
Kinder
When was the last time we played 442? It will be interesting and they’ve had a decent amount of time on the training ground to work on it. Rooney’s certainly not afraid to change the formation. It keeps the opposition guessing, I doubt Colin was expecting it!

Jourdan
Looks like a 4-4-2 to accommodate Gregory, who is well known to play his best football in a front two. Disappointed not to see Roberts or Sibley starting, but let’s hope Rooney has left them on the bench to swing the game in our favour late on. Millenniumram
Don’t know how there can only be 1 change after the absolute poo show at Rotherham. No one other than Jozwiak and Kazim-Richards deserved to keep their places after that pathetic collapse. The rest of them really have to repay the faith Rooney has shown in them today, because they are very lucky to still be in that lineup. Good to see Gregory get his debut, but I’m disappointed Roberts and Mengi aren’t in there as well at least. Looks like a 4-2-4, so we’re obviously going at them.
