This is where likes of CKR, Sibley, Lawrence, Waghorn and Roberts and Gregory need to step up and get their shooting boots on.

I'm not sure you can really say CKR needs to up his game when finishing off chances. We're a team who don't create many clear cut opportunities and he's done well with the one's he has had.

If you compare his record this season to the best 2 goalscorers we've had recently (and remember that a shot and a chance aren't necessarily the same thing) he's not exactly doing poorly...

2020/21 CKR - 7 goals from 37 shots (5.3 shots per goal)
2013/14 Martin - 22 goals from 103 shots (4.7 shots per goal)
2017/18 Vydra - 23 goals from 75 shots (3.3 shots per goal)

Didn't Vydra go on a mad spell in the winter of that season where he scored with every single shot on target? It was an awesome spell of form, especially in a team not set up to create as many chances as 13/14.

CKR's stats aren't helped by the fact he's had to 'hit and hope' from range - hence why he's also scored a couple of bangers.
