Fantastic work rate & team player We'd really miss him if he wasn't in the team as he is pivotal to our system He got booked again on Saturday Anyone know how many bookings he's got now & what the rules/deadlines are for suspension ? Seems like the main problem under Cocu was not enough hard work in a game. If we work as hard as the other team then we have a very good chance next season. Seriously, though, free transfer and if we'd have continued in a similar style instead of trying to remodel as a dutch team I believe he'd have been a mainstay of our team. As it is, I respect him for doing his best to force his way into a team under Cocu that really wasn't suited to his virtues as a player rather than jumping to somewhere else down here or back in Scotland where he'd have been lapped up for what he is. He's a traditional british hard working general purpose midfielder, and you need one of those in your squad even if they're not a star player.
