Was a nice vinyl record shop there called Spinderella- my collectable of choice. There was a very large antique shop next door. I seem to remember being surprised at the level of antique shops in Cromford as well. Quite a few up by the church in Ashbourne, but expensive on the whole and there's a nice one in Hartington which was pricey but had some nice clocks if that's your thing. The antique place in Tutbury is also very good for wooden furniture with some history but loads of little knick knacks as well to fit budgets. Don't normally get dealers knocking 50% off the asking price either.
