Very few of the players you're looking at are the better players in our academy; cos the better players train with the first team even when they're not in first team squads. The idea of them just needing to "play" against this side implies that they're better footballers than these non-league players. That is not going to be the case in a lot of areas of the pitch. Some of the players in a Derby shirt right now will never play another game of senior football. They will play senior football...but not as a professional. Rample
Are any of our young/reserve keepers any good? Not rounding on Yates at all, nobody gets any negative comments today, but I've not see any have particularly good games at any level. I'm hoping Foster might be an exception. Ghost of Clough
How has the ref decided on a goal kick there?
AndyinLiverpool
What on earth were people expecting? Some of the comments here are completely unrealistic.

Philmycock
It's sad when the most recognisable person on the pitch is the ref, and he's having a mare

Handball is never dangerous; so intent to handle a ball-in-play is irrelevant if the ball is dead when your hand comes into contact with it. What does that ^ mean. Ball wasn’t technically dead. Edtheram
Our CBS keep getting dragged out by that number 9 - leave him to flick it on and win the second ball

DerbyRam!
One thing which is disappointing, yes there is nerves, but you don't need more than Sunday league level just to put a few short passes together. Some of our play is really terrible. Sorry to be so negative.
JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
If be tempted to change the shape a bit and get Cybulski on. He's a big lad and we could do with a bit of size on the pitch.
SKRam
Listening on 5Live, bizarre that any player mentioned leaves me clueless as to whether it’s Chorley or Derby, surreal!

chewbacca
The Non League giant killing narrative is playing out well for the media. Last night when it was Villa vs Liverpool it was 'the Villa kids' Villa's youngsters' etc Today it is Chorley are beating Championship side Derby County. Ffs ?
