It's "interesting" in a rubber necking motorway pile up point of view as you are slowing down to view the carnage glad that you're not involved in it. Then you plough into the back of the car you're following as you're not paying enough attention to your own affairs.

Won't reply further to avoid getting sucked in, but are you seriously suggesting people should avoid posting bad things going on at other clubs in this forum? Nothing to get sucked into. And no I prefer to get our own house in order first then worry about other clubs. And my original point still stands, what if our new owners are just as bad or even worse than Chansiri?
LazloW
People do realise football is a bit of fun don’t they? Taking the micky out of other clubs is part of the fun. When we do silly things, other clubs take the micky out of us. Some just seem to take it all so seriously (too seriously).
Millenniumram
The bloke seems like an absolute disaster. But still, we haven’t actually heard a thing from our “new owners” yet, so they might be even worse...

jcidaho
Here's a snippet from a long ramble: He asked maybe the players saw on social that he wanted to leave. Who leaked that? He had a short training. Everyone was surprised at how unprofessional he was in the end. After 30 years. He is the worst one I’ve had and tried to cause trouble in the club. It made me think he could not handle or manage the team. He said if no decision today I will not manage tomorrow. I said I’d speak to him after the game about my lawyers send him mutual consent after the game. The way he was thinking was going to damage my club. If he tried to make me let him go or not I don’t know. He is good friends with the Middlesbrough owner. That made me scared. I need my people to give 100%. My people told me to give it a few games to find a new manager. I didn’t feel comfortable. He said he would call in sick. Unprofessional. I said I didn’t want to help him by doing mutual consent, so I sacked him. My people say no counter attack, that we need two strikers. To play more attacking. And then we won. My people told me on the social that we took his plan. We did not, we played more attacking. That’s why I sacked him.

angieram
Thanks for the pointers, I have actually waded through it more or less now. I think many EFL clubs are in financial bother now, without their fans' income and support. Those clubs that find themselves in poor form too are being hit the hardest as the pressure for change is on them. We haven't been much different to SWFC in this. Thank goodness Rooney is starting to pull things round without the need for a massive financial and football gamble, which is what every appointment is, imo. Hopefully where we are different to SWFC is that our current owner isn't airing his dirty linen in public- even though some of our fans persistently demand it! Pearl Ram
What do you expect when somebody comes straight in taking the moral high ground ? I’d have told him to go and play with himself, Christ what with the professionally offended and Devils advocates not to mention the contrary Mary’s it’s a wonder anybody posts anything on here these days. ? David
Just been through that thread on Owls Talk, dear me, what a grim situation. I feel for the guy, no revenue coming in and cash flow issues, many clubs will be in this situation now. Taking a swing at the fans though, calling them bad customers, I mean he’s probably just alienated thousands of fans and fuelled further protests. Wasn’t doing too bad on the Pulis stuff looking at the reaction, doesn’t look like he was all too popular but yeah, turning on the fans wiped all that out. Will be interesting to see what Pulis comes back with, I can’t see him just smiling and taking it on the chin true or not. As @angieram said, some persistently demand the dirty linen, but I can’t see how this helps at all. Some things are best kept private. Looks like a PR disaster that one. Also, apologising at the start for his poor English, never understood that one, if you come to run a club over here, owner or manager, should you not know the lingo?
