We were the better team overall, we were dominating until we went down to 10 men. Hard for 10 to play against 11 for so long, but when the Ref makes that 10 v 12 then we can feel hard done by. Massive mistake from the ref not giving a clear free kick on Sibley. Hopefully the lads can take the positives from the game and recover in time for Brum. I understand there will be some complaints about Rooney not using his subs, but the players on the pitch were handling the game and we looked comfortable. Any changes could've unbalanced the team early on (like Preston got weaker when changing formation). So we can't point the finger at Rooney. We deserved at least a point today. If i'm honest i think considering we had 10 men for 70 mins we were actually the better side today. Maybe this is the luck you get when you're down there at the bottom. Didn't come anywhere near replicating the Swansea performance in the opening stages of the game, and largely looked quite similar to how we looked under Cocu this season, and indeed through many of Rooney's first few games.
