Not sure I could bring myself to want another nice man sacked or dislike them if they take us down. Pardew, Warnock or Allardyce please You forgot Mad Billy. Nuwtfly
I'd like Jokanovic but I don't know if he's the sort of manager you want when you're scrapping at the bottom of the table. It might genuinely have to be an Allardyce type to get us winning.

Wolfie20
If the take-over goes ahead then whoever comes in as manager/coach may well have to accept working under a director of football so this may well eliminate many of the names mentioned in this thread. I wouldn't be surprised if it's another overseas appointment which may not be what we need in our current situation.
DeMontfortRam
If and when the new owner comes in maybe he'll want to make a big statement and flex his muscles in front of the footballing world. He can't spend his money on players cause of FFP, so perhaps he'll go for a big name manager instead... Rafa Benitez is the first name to spring to mind considering he's been willing to manage in the Championship before, however he's in China right now and I doubt money is an issue. Current big name managers that are without a job and aren't too overly unrealistic if we threw megabucks at them include: Marco Silva (Last at Everton), Big Sam (Last at Everton), Jürgen Klinsmann (Last at Hertha Berlin), Leonardo Jardim (Last at Monaco), Clarence Seedorf (Last at Cameroon), Roberto Di Matteo (Last at Villa)... Not particularly keen on any of them (although I do like Di Matteo). Not sure if a lot of these ex-players / big name managers are gonna achieve much more than Cocu, but it's food for thought and a route I wouldn't be surprised to see a new mega rich owner take. I'm still in the Steve McClaren / Big Sam camp.

This wouldn't be new territory for him. I don't think we are crying over for a "relegation specialist", not at this point at least. Most games this season I think could have easily gone very differently with just a bit of luck and 5% extra in individual performances.
