England Ram Posted December 1, 2020 Share Posted December 1, 2020 Marshall - 6 Nothing to do except pick the ball out Byrne - 8 Solid at the back and a great outlet. Should have stayed on towards the end. Buchanan - 8 Solid defensively and a threat going forward. Really starting to like this lad. All with little to no help from Lawrence. Wisdom - 6 OK Clarke - 6 OK, although gives me a heart attack sometimes. Lost a point for the suicidal back pass that almost cost us. Bird - 7 Really solid in the middle with Bielik. Those 2 will be the pairing going forward. Lost a point for not covering the edge of the area for the goal. Bielik - 8 & MOTM. Positive and defensive at the same time. His partnership with Bird was a joy to watch. Even able to find a forward man sometimes and that was not easy with our lot. Holmes - 6 Shows willing and got some good crosses in but is wasteful on so many simple things. Not overly bad today, just a bit disappointed he didn’t do more of the same he showed occasionally. Knight - 6. Busy and distributive but not effective going forward and we were playing him in a forward role. Lawrence - 4. I want to give him a lower mark, but he was subbed so we had 10 mins of another player so that was a bonus. It is like playing with 10 men with him on. I don’t know what he shows in training but is a waste of space. CKR - 8 Got his goal and should have had an assist for Stretton. Did what he he does and caused problems. BaaLocks Posted December 1, 2020 Share Posted December 1, 2020 Marshall - 7 Byrne - 8 MOTM for me, big mistake by Rooney to take him off Buchanan - 7 great first half, quieter second but defended well and has great pace tracking back Wisdom - 7 got Clarke out of jail but got caught out of position himself a couple of times Clarke - 6 couple of big errors that really could have cost big Bird - 7 quiet in the middle third, seems to lack that ability he had to move the ball forward Bielik - 7 grew into the game after being a bit shaky in the first 20 mins Holmes - 8 best game for Derby for a while Knight - 6 a quieter one Lawrence - 2 how much longer do we have to hear about the ability he is supposed to have but just doesn't show CKR - 6 scored the goal and bustled well for the Stretton chance but he should have buried at least two more and the booking was just silly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Playing Bird and Bielik doesn’t work. Too similar. Knight runs around a lot but of late lacks quality on the ball. Lawrence and Holmes just don’t offer enough up front.
