I really don’t think he’s been given enough of a chance to determine whether he is good enough or not. No guarantee he will be, of course, but when was the last time we kept a clean sheet? 1 clean sheet in 14 tells me we can’t afford to freeze out a player we identified as a key signing 11 months ago on the basis of 2-3 poor games, the kind of games that can inevitably happen when a foreign player still needs to adapt.
