Out of interest: the U23 team would be eligible to play in the Checkatrade/Paint... whatever trophy due to their status in academy football.

If we were to be relegated, would it be possible to have a competitive match between Derby County and Derby County U23s?

I do love a poo ground though.

There are many on here who would say our times in the old third division were the best fun we had as Derby fans. Hartlepool (every year in the cup), Darlington, Newport, Bradford, Grimsby, Gillingham, York, Chesterfield - them was the days....

Bris talks a loud of rubbish. They had 2 players under the age of 25 who were in their most used 11, one of which was a Chelsea loanee.

Downes - 1849 minutes (used in rotation)
Bishop - 1068 minutes (only started playing in the second half of the season when it was certain they'd go down)
Dozzell - 963 minutes (only started playing in the later part of the season when it was certain they'd go down)
Lankester - 521 minutes (came off the bench a few times in the middle of the season)
Woolfenden - 53 minutes (started in their first game of the season before going out on loan to L1)
