Cocu out!

Oh wait....

Ok tongue in cheek. Significant change won't happen overnight - especially until we get better quality up front. Joswiak a big miss.

There was more urgency but the similarities were far more conspicuous...... Lots of possession, poor crosses, next to no chances created, opposition sit back and then just pick us off.

And Knight pushed out to the wing!!

This is more alarming, the willing runner (Bryson style) is absolutely essential with no recognised centre forward in the team. And yet we have coaches that still can’t spot this ????

Nothing will change whilst we still have some of his coaching team in charge. What we’re we expecting, Liam Rosenior to turn out to be Steve McClaren in disguise?! The sooner we have a full clear out, and yes that includes Rooney, the better. I mean we don’t even have a designated manager at the moment ffs. It’s an absolute farce.

I suspect Knight would have been in the middle if Jozwiak was fit and Holmes dropped.
unfortunately for Knight he is so versatile he can play anywhere across the middle of the park and sometimes he’ll get stuck out their because he can do a job.

Sorry for the double post. Wrong thread.

Derby 0-2 Barnsley. Bristol City 1-0 Derby.

Cocu alone was not the problem. Clearly the coaching staff we put in place to ease his transition into English football are struggling to come up with solutions too.

Realistically we need a new manager and for the new manager to bring in his own people.

This is based on the fact that away from home against a top 6 team we are expected to win?

Or just that you have to continue along the same lines even though it was clear today was a different game. If only we had a decent striker up top.

Exactly this. If Cocu only had his own team and hadn’t been handed Rooney/Rosenior then who knows if he’d really have been that bad.

I can’t imagine he was handed Roseniors CV and said to his team ‘duck me we need to get this guy in’. Rooney was either going to listen and learn or get too involved. Seems it’s the latter.

Whatever anyone thinks, Cocu did achieve something at PSV and deserved far more respect than these two do.

But away from home we drew with Bournemouth and beat top of the league Norwich and drew with Forest with a good goal disallowed.

Today we lost to a team who hadn’t trained all week.
