Ambitious
Let's look at the teams on 6 points or less after 10 games in this division and see how they ended up. 04/05 - Rotherham - 24th with 29 points 07/08 - Sheff Wed - 16th with 55 points 08/09 - Notts Forest - 19th with 53 points 09/10 - Crystal Palace - 21st with 49 points 09/10 - Plymouth - 23rd with 41 points 09/10 - Ipswich - 15th with 56 points 10/11 - Bristol City - 15th with 60 points 11/12 - Bristol City - 20th with 49 points 11/12 - Portsmouth - 22nd with 40 points 12/13 - Peterborough - 22nd with 54 points 13/14 - Bolton - 14th with 59 points 13/14 - Sheff Wed - 16th with 53 points 13/14 - Barnsley - 23rd with 39 points 13/14 - Yeovil - 24th with 37 points 14/15 - Bolton - 18th with 51 points 14/15 - Blackpool - 24th with 26 points 16/17 - Rotherham - 24th with 23 points 17/18 - Sunderland - 24th with 37 points 17/18 - Bolton - 21st with 43 points 18/19 - Ipswich - 24th with 31 points 18/19 - Millwall - 21st with 44 points 18/19 - Preston - 14th with 61 points 18/19 - Birmingham - 17th with 52 points 19/20 - Barnsley - 21st with 49 points 19/20 - Huddersfield - 18th with 51 points 19/20 - Stoke - 15th with 56 points 19/20 - Wigan - 23rd with 47 points 20/21 - Derby - ? 20/21 - Sheff Wed - ? Interestingly, slightly worrying, none of these teams finished in the top half. On the other side, it shows that less than half the teams that were on this mark actually got relegated. Nevertheless, it shows that historically 90% of the teams ended up in a relegation battle so we should prepare for one.

Dave Watson, Kenny Burns, Archies Swansong, Roy Mac still going, Steve powell, John Robertson wheezing down the wing.........the average age must have been nearing 40! ? But the one thing I will say about that team they gave more effort, entertainment and at least scored goals, it wasn't great but a lot better than the rubbish and negative football of Cocu. Scooter
Wonder how many on that list survived without a change of manager.

As another poster has alluded to would be very interested to learn what % of the teams who did avoid relegation did so with the same manager at the start of the campaign. G-Ram
Wigan looked like they had turned it around up to 13th & a mad run of one defeat in 14 then they were deducted points. We can get out of it but to finish top half or higher we'd need a run where we put together about 8 win & 2 draws in ten games. Which doesn't look like happening based on previous games
