Is Phil Jones good enough for Man United and where they want to be? No.

Is Phil Jones good enough to be in the starting 11 of a Championship club? Yes.

Is the Daily Star good enough for anything other than toilet roll when the hoarders have wiped the supermarkets out? No.

Some fans need to give their head a wobble. Phil Jones would be an excellent CB in the championship. He was the scapegoat at Man Utd. If he's available for cheap(ish) wages, we should go for it. There are his stats for 18/19 as he only played a few games last season.image.thumb.png.656014fff3e1cc0e057e61d2368fd317.png

Him or someone else certainly have to come in soon.

Davies and Wisdom will be running out of their contracts next summer. Clarke isn't ours so that would leave us with Te Wierik, who hasn't hit the ground running, and Evans, who is decent option as a back-up. Bielik looked way better in midfield than as a CB.

Also, it seems like we are not having any CB's coming through from the academy either. Salomon might be the next one, but most likely he won't be ready anytime soon.

Hard to play with three at the back if we only have two centrebacks.

I’d have him straight away. Just depends on the price.

reading between the lines and ignoring all the mega wages pub talk. We could probably pay 15k a week. Then there’d be insurance premiums for injuries .. at that level, I’d be delight to welcome a quality defender like PJ, If it’s bigger money, then no thanks.

they still cannot spend money, the rolling 3/4 year period will still include the information it does now. It doesn't set us back to £0 spent.

How can new owner be stuck with ffp when old owner was in charge surely it will sent back as able to spend money.
