But the competition wasn’t there with only three and then four TV channels. It was very formulaic and lacked creativity. Thinking back, impressions/tributes were the backbone of prime time TV! However thought he was brilliant as the Dad in not going out, his come backs to comments from Lee Macks wife’s old man were great to watch.
