Jubbs Posted October 29, 2020 Share Posted October 29, 2020 Roos - 6 - some good catching/punching, looks better in that regard than he did. Could've done better for the goal though. Byrne - 6 - average performance. Buchanan - 7 - won all 7 of his aerial duels, just think he let winger cut in too many times on his strong foot. Wisdom - 5 - not a great performance. Caught out way too many times and caught out during their goal, doing a weird swivel. Davies - 7.5 - dealt with Moore well. Again though, let the goal go in between himself and Wisdom. Clarke - 7.5 - defensively great. Some wayward/hopeful passes though. Shinnie - 8 - another good performance from Shinniesta. Just wish he was better going forward. Knight - 7 - he's been great so far this season but looks like he could do with a rest, don't blame him. Jozwiak - 8 - ball sticks to his feet like glue. Excellent signing. Could've had 2 goals but was let down by Lawrence & Waghorn. Amazing how much he does defensively too. Waghorn - 7 - well take goal and should've had a penalty. Other than that bit disappointing at times. Lawrence - 7 - I think the lazy claims can be well and truly put to bed. Got away with our free kick because he could've easily played in Jozwiak. Good or better- Waghorn 7.6 Lawrence 7 Better than average - Davies 6.7 Jozwiak 6.6 Marshall 6.6 Buchanan 6.5 Knight 6.4 Byrne 6.3 Clarke 6.1 Shinnie 6.1 Then after those 10 players quite a gap to Around below average mark - Wisdom 5.2 Rooney 5.2 Evans 5.2 Holmes 5.2 Forsyth 4.9 Bird 4.8 Sibley 4.7 In the doldrums - Marriott 4.3 MTW 3.5 There may be some advantage to not playing in those first 3 games and vice versa but it seems clear that 10 players stand out from the rest.
