To be fair, I’ve got faith that he’d do a decent enough job as emergency cover, which I think is what we originally intended for him to be. I’m not remotely convinced that he’s the right sort of player to step up to regular involvement in the squad though, now that Marriotts gone. Think the outcry on here is absolutely justified.

Not a very exciting signing that’s for sure, understandably people are concerned about the lack of activity towards the end particularly when other competitors are getting their men.

My view on CKR is that it’s almost too random to be random. If we had signed him from another English club then I’d agree it was a panic, but to have come from where he was suggests that actually a bit of thought might have gone into this. He might not be a 20+ man but if he can trap the ball and hold it for Ibe, Joz, Rooney, Sibley, Lawrence etc. to get on the end and smash it then he’ll be doing his job. He looks a big strong presence and he is much cheaper than anything else we could have got if first choice is to go back for Dursun in January.

Agree ,possibly have other targets inline that haven't materialised or are in the pipeline come january. (Dersen perhaps)The club have had a chance to evaluate him whilst training at the club so have been able to make an informed decision .if this means the club's saving wages from Martin and Marriott whilst having a temporary Stop gap capable of doing a job allowing us to afford a more permanent quality striker, or left back come Xmas am for it. As disappointing to lose Marriott if he wasn't going to be selected, didn't fit the system  at least we're not paying his wages ,and hopefully can make a profit selling if he performs elswhere.Let's not write CKR off before he kicks a ball, hopefully he will surprise a few defences as well as us fans. Fingers crossed not convinced but I have faith in Mel, Cocu and the coaching staff. COYR and good luck tonight.

Hi all, as a Blackburn rovers fan I had to sign up to ask wtf is your club playing at signing this donkey?

He managed to look abysmal in a very poor rovers team and that was in his "peak" about 10 years ago.

Sorry to say but if this is your calibre of signing, as well as having to play fat Wayne, you will probably go down.

Good luck anyway.
