Hope he comes back next season in the same form he’s ending this one.

In the last two matches, to say he has been bloody impressive would be an understatement.

Today, he was the only player who showed any kind of temperament relative to the task in hand. From the off, Godleman seemed to be in one day mode, taking ridiculous singles and swishing at everything when logic suggested "get through until lunch, then assess". The rest followed suit - until Dal came in and for the first time in the match, a Derbyshire player played as if he didn't think that defeat was a foregone conclusion.

2 wickets in 2 balls, 27-2

Du Plooy with a combined 0 runs from 3 balls in the match.

Perhaps when you know a player doesn't like or want to bat at number 3, don’t keep sending him out there 🤷‍♂️

We’ve got to find a number 3 batsman from somewhere.

Lasted 4 balls this time.

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

I'm regretting not going down to Hove now. The Memsahib decided that we would watch England ladies v New Zealand instead.

Cracking weather too Eddie.

Madsen just caught on the boundary off an awful delivery, (first over with the new ball), 111, Nelson strikes again

Yep. I'm basking in the warming glow of YouTube myself at the moment.
