It seems to have been forgotten how well we did in the Bob Willis trophy last season. up until this season, he over achieved with the squad we had. Some idiots think we will start winning things next year with a new coach. With the departures announced and rumoured, we will be even worse. jimbo jones

Phew thats a relief, I had to take a work call and when I rechecked the stream it had finished. I thought surley we can't have lost 7 wickets in hald an hour can we? jimbo jones

Eddie
That was not a good wicket. If they started another 4-day game on it tomorrow, it would still be hard work to engineer a win. Leicestershire's score flattered them somewhat, and might well have been 150-200 lower if it hadn't been for five dropped catches in the slip cordon and two clear run out opportunities spurned. Saying that, I got a nice suntan.
jimbo jones
If Middlesex beat Sussex today, we won't be bottom of the league. Could be the big battle for the wooden spoon down at Hove for the final game of the season. RadioactiveWaste
jimbo jones
Squad for Kent game, last home game of the season, still looking for that elusive victory. Came and Melton added to the squad, I’d play both. Came as a natural opener, and Melton has a extra bit of pace that we’ve missed.
jimbo jones
Got my wish, Came and Melton in, Thomson and Moulton. Glad we are playing the extra batsman too, over head conditions should help the bowlers out for this one, there's rain forecast too.
jimbo jones
Won the toss and put Kent into bat, seemed a slightly odd decision, even more so now they are 108-1 at lunch. Dropping Zak Crawley twice hasn't helped the cause.

Against Leicestershire, Madsen and Critchley put 5 down between them. It seems to be a habit.

Yeah, very frustrating in 2 matches that haven't afforded many chances for wickets, got to hold on to those catches.

Doing a very good job, offers something different, being a short man. Medium pace but seems a bit quicker than you're expecting. Keeps it tight, swings it a bit. Should have been bowling all along ? sage
Good effort by Derbyshire to get them all our for 285 after they were 237 for 3 and 284 for 7. Just need to get through to stumps without casualties.
