Leicester Ram
Holmes not quite match sharp, I think.
SaintRam
HT 0-0 Derby look like a team playing a solid system where all the players know their roles and responsibilities - but we look like we're lacking the attributes going forward we'd get from some of the missing players; as others have said. Watford have been in behind a few times - but they've not actually created anything dangerous. Derby the better side.
Ghost of Clough
Holmes looks very rusty. I'm not sure if that's because he isn't fully over his injury troubles yet or if he just needs a solid run of games to build up his sharpness (hopefully the latter)

Nuwtfly
Hate to say it, but Duane Holmes hasn't been the same player since that injury. Seems to have lost that energy and decision making, and is now struggling to take people on. Not sure what's happened there but it's a shame. Really impressed by Byrne, Bird and Knight's energy. If we had an ounce of goal threat we might just accidentally get something here.
Millenniumram
Pretty decent first half tbf. Like at Norwich, we’ve worked very hard and defended fairly well on the whole, bar the odd lapse in concentration. We seem to actually be pressing a bit more today as well, which has made a huge difference in forcing Watford to make errors. We’ve been very wasteful with the chances that have fallen our way though, and I suspect we will leave to regret that. Rooney has been excellent, but we’re missing quality around him - who’d have thought with that lineup hey? Holmes especially has been poor, I’d get him off for Lawrence at half time if he’s fit enough.
Abu Dhabi Ram
I like Rooney up top, looking much sharper, get Lawrence and Jozwiak up along side him and a midfield three of Bird, Knight and Sibley and this side will click.

Steve Buckley’s Dog
It’s a classic. Two teams battling it out to see who can make the decisive catastrophic mistake. Could go either way at the moment. What could the second half hold? A shot on target? Holmes making the right decision? Me recognising a Watford player? Where’s Ross Jenkins? The Scarlet Pimpernel
Very even first half. For saying we have potentially 4 or 5 key players out we are not doing too badly at all. Some good pressing in midfield and some good passing football.
Derbados
Also, Rooney looks a lot fitter. 2 yards quicker than he was a few weeks ago
Silko
Well much the better team but 1 shot not on target at home and that sums us up in the last minute of the half Holmes should have driven forward and had a shot instead chose the wrong pass and another attack ends without an effort on goal
ariotofmyown
Not a great game but we are improving. Knight looking good, player of the year so far. Davies poor on ball but some great defending when it mattered. Terrible waste of Roots Manuva's Witness the Fitness on that rubbish Ikea advert. alexxxxx
Was a good half in the end. Defense not much to do, forgot Evans was even playing. Feel like we're missing a focal point at top, Rooney seems happy to lay balls off to advancing midfielders.
