thekingofbuxton
Don't premier league teams have to pay a greater % of loan wages this season? I'd fancy Charlie to be the most prolific of the strikers that we've been linked with. At 31 and with high wages it does make you wonder about how keeping Chris Martin might have been a smart idea. Ambitious
He’s always been a great goalscorer at this level, but he’s apparently on £70k plus in the West Midlands. He will find a loan that pays most of that, but I hope it isn’t us.

He wasn't crap either. Austin scored 3 or 4 penalties. He was also in a team with a plethora of attacking talent. Martin is miles clear of Austin. Yeah, 10 goals but 4 were penalties, plus 1 was a free kick from the edge of the 6 yard box for a back pass

IslandExile
The DET even says it's speculation amongst the fans. There's no substantiated rumour. At least it's another chance to play this...
Anag Ram
Too old, too slow, too thirsty, too rusty. The only time Austin and Morris are likely to be together.

My Dad had one of these, and also for a short while after the Vanden Plas version with a grille like a Rolls. I think he was seduced by the grille and didn’t check anything else (e.g. kick the tyres, pat the bonnet, etc.). I recall it went to the scrappy very quickly. I think he went for a dodgy Viva next. I guess he must have gone through about 20 ropey cars before I hit my teens, all of them falling into the category of too old, too slow, too thirsty, too rusty. A three wheel bubble car was the most amusing. Anyway, I agree with you. There is no way in the world Morris will invest in this Austin.
Dimmu
Maybe not exactly what we've been looking for but nevertheheless, he would be huge upgrade to what we got the moment. Also, he has tattoos and beard so strong yes from me.
JAT
This would be a backward step for the club so can’t see it happening.
Rampant
Not been impressed with Austin for years tbh. Big no from me. I'd go for Lucas Joao but I'm in a minority.

Macintosh
I can understand why we were not able to offer Chris Martin the two year contract he wanted and that is over and done with. But to even consider bringing Austin here would be crazy.
