"snowflake":  used to try and make the victim of an earlier offensive insult appear to be the person at fault.

A way of justifying something that really is inexcusable - a bit like putting your hazard lights on when stopping in a bus stop, on double yellows or in a disabled parking bay.

Personally I find it hilarious how injuries or transfer embargo is the answer for everything these days.

Why did we lose to Luton? Injuries.

Why did Player X choose Club Y over us? Transfer embargo.

Why did the chicken cross the road? Injuries.

What is froggg eating tonight? Transfer embargo.

Why does Louie Sibley watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Injuries.

Where's that thread gone? Has it been deleted?

Is that the first time a thread has been deleted on those particular grounds?

Norman Hull breaks boundaries!

I think it was renamed, moved and quite a few posts in it disappeared.

Victorian Dad Moderator’s fingerprints are all over that decision ?

Such and such "coming into his prime" if they're anywhere between the ages of 24 & 28 as if there's some exponential career path that all players take.

Similarly stating that someone between 17-23 will only improve with experience when in reality  someone's ability could just as well peak at 18 as it could at 28 or higher.

Off topic a bit but has “snowflake” replaced “Wet” as a term of disparagement for those lacking a bit of personal resilience ?
