Prior to the match:

What's the point of having an academy if we don't use it?

We should use the cup to give the young players a chance.

How will he get fitness/experience if we don't play him?

 

On lineup annoucnement:

I don't like the look of that team. Too many young players.

We should be putting out a stronger side if we want to win the cup.

(Player) isn't ready to be thrown in at the deep end.

 

During the match:

This is poo.

(Player) isn't good enough.

What was he thinking playing him if he doesn't have enough fitness/experience?

 

After the match:

I knew we'd get beaten playing the youngsters when I saw that line up.

Clueless.

Maybe we can concentrate on the league now.

We'll never win a cup with that sort of attitude.
