Sparkle
This extra two weeks transfer window is going to be very interesting and dangerous for championship clubs between them and the premiership. Championship clubs will be looking for unwanted youngsters on loan or unused premiership squad players and holding their budgets for them whilst premiership clubs will be holding a financial gun to the heads of some clubs who need money ( expect Tottenham to all over some clubs for their best youngsters)
Tyler Durden
I can't understand some modern day footballers, a lot seem to have agents to pay for the privilege of being poorly advised. There will be numerous free agents now who have been paid nada from the start of June potentially up to October who have been offered contracts on reduced terms and rejected them meaning that their agent has insisted that they will get more money elsewhere including an additional amount to compensate for not getting paid at all for potentially 4 months. Can't see it happening in a lot of cases.

Perhaps they don't fancy the club in for them? I imagine they hope to get a bigger signing on fee? Dunno how much is UC nowadays?! ?
Millenniumram
Think a lot of them are being too unrealistic with their wage expectations. They’re free agents for a reason, and a lot of them aren’t getting any younger. If they want a new club, they’re gonna have to take pay cuts. Don’t know whether Huddlestone and Martin we’re willing to take a big enough one to stay here.
Patrick Rams
7 hours ago, ilkleyram said: Just to complicate matters there are two 'Final day mad rushes' of the transfer window this season. The International transfer window (including Scotland) runs until 11pm on October 5th. There is then a domestic transfer window for England between the PL and EFL clubs only, which runs from October 5th to October 16th at 5pm - permanent and loan deals can be done during this period. We won't know our final squad, and might not know whether Chrissy and George are coming back, until we're 4 games in (not including cup matches). The only good thing is that European squads have to be announced on October 6th so the pressure on those clubs to have English registered players in not on during the second period. George coming back? Are you being serious?
