They honestly seem like a nice bunch over on the Barrow forum.

Here are some of the best snippets so far.

"Two great chances to be in front."

"Holding our shape really well. Impressed so far."

"Don't know how strong the Derby squad is, but so far we have given a really good account of ourselves. Looking like a solid unit."

"HT- I tell you what- that was a great first half for Barrow. Happy to let them have the ball and we’ve had two good chances, just needed a bit more composure, but very good half."

"Question for the Kendal area Bluebirds, Do we have much support in the area & will is now being L2, Can you see support growing??"

"0-0 after 15 mins and we’ve quietened the home crowd successfully."

?

"Meeting up for breakfast and then off to the pub to watch the game, can't wait!"

god you can tell I am bored.

Sad to tell them it's not good defending. It's walking from one side of the field to the other.

No Barrow player has faced their own goal.

This is absolutely dreadful.

The balance is all wrong. Buchanan left footed playing RWB.

The lack of creativity is alarming.

Go back to 433. Get Whittaker on with Marriott and Knight across the front 3.

Holmes & Sibley infront of Bird.

Get Evans off.

Got to tell ourselves this isn't our team.

Waghorn, Lawrence, Rooney, Bielik to come back.

Two wingers and a striker in. So we should be unrecognisable in a few weeks.

Bogle needs replacing. People keep saying Ebosele. But he's not got a squad number and isn't in the squad today. So clearly they think he's not ready.

was thinking exactly that

u see it with some players ... usually when they get to a certain point where u can literally read what their brain is thinking and what there next pass is

if we can read it then u can sure ask hell be sure the opposition can to

be just telegraphs everything he does

don’t get me wrong fozzy bombing forward with those delicious first time crosses were a thing of Beauty and he’s still a good crosser of the ball ... defensively solid

he’s just a bit of a liability in time and space on his own half

Why isn't Fozzy playing LWB? He's ideal for it with our current squad?

Doesn't have to focus solely on the defensive. Can get some good crosses in.

Birds been excellent

we’re missing a focal point and some genuine devilment

for all the love sibley gets ... and rightly so he’s still a kid and we need to remember he needs time to blossom

truly hope cocu brings in someone to take that pressure off him.. or just realise we don’t need Rooney and bird sat next to each other holding hands and push Wayne up the pitch a bit .. perhaps Rooney closer to Marriott will work better than Rooney closer to Martin where we could just be squeezed out of it due to lack of any outlet ball in behind

I must say moving to a system that requires wing backs to work properly then selling the only two wing backs at the club that fit that system is peak Derby.

Although, all of our young full-backs are wingbacks first, fullbacks second. Imo at least.

This is quite dire.  Always hard when a team put so many men behind the ball, but nobody is prepared to take on a man - would much rather pass it sideways or backwards.

Feel for Jack Marriott.  He's barely had anything to attack and he's the type of striker that needs fluid creative players to "create" for him!
