want a couple of pounds on that sir?

I will take that bet...

Surely the bet would have to involve @David avatar? Perhaps changing it to the magnificent cockroach Leeds badge for a specified period if they stay up? Or maybe a Pat Bamford celebrating a leeds goal picture? Obviously, the forum tech support team would have to make sure he was held to it.

xG can go in the bin.

Creating new stats for stats sake, was Roofe expected to ping one in from the half way line the other week for Rangers? No. But he did, that’s a goal, he’s scored a goal and will probably miss a sitter next week.

Looking at stats on a one-off basis is stupid. It's like denying the fact that you're extremely unlikely to win the lottery because someone won it once.

In the long run, the stats tend to bear out.

Guess we'll see now whether Bielsa has a 'plan b'. He's been much eulogised but these last two games have clearly demonstrated how to turn his side over. Sit deep, defend with discipline and counter at speed. Against both Leicester and Palace they've dominated possession but still been completely dismantled. Just wondering how long it might be before he decides he's had enough and nicks off down the road with his bucket in hand.

As for that bamfordy, bamford Bamford, who cares, he's a cheating bamford.

Championship teams knew how to beat Leeds, just most of them weren't good enough to, but once you get at their defence they're not particularly hard to get goals against.

The intensity of their play isn't dramatically above the level of pl teams and bamford will regress towards the mean as the season goes on.

Oooof, he's caught some whoppers with this

Everyone knows it's tougher to get Leeds promoted than it is to get a top half PL finish, just 5 points off top 6,  with Sheffield United who had the smallest budget in the league. Bielsa performed miracles last season.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't win. Winning the quintuple with Bayern is a walk in the park. So too is winning the PL for the first time in 30 years with a club-record points tally.
