DcFc Dyycheee
Thankfully it's in the Daily Mail. Would have been worried otherwise.

MackworthRamIsGod
I'd be mortified if this was true.
Black ('n' White) Sheep
Only scored 6 goals in 40 games last season... no thanks.

Rab a dab doo
Do we need another bench warmer ?
Shadowplay
Would rather give JHI a chance - he looked sharp in the training clips.
therealhantsram
31. At Stoke, so on massive wages. No chance we will be going for him.
r4derby
We still have the same recruitment team. It’s not surprising that we are being linked with the same players as last Summer. Underwhelming. However, if Stoke want rid (just bought in Fletcher), this could be loan with view to offer him a deal next Summer when is contract expires. Not one for the future, but as a low cost option you can’t completely dismiss it
Millenniumram
I hope not. 6 goals in 40 games is awful, and he’s 31 as well. Thank god it’s the daily fail so it won’t be true.
JfR
Personally, I think it's reasonable that we'd be linked with him. I think he fits the general profile of the sort of player that Cocu would want as a striker, so you'd expect him to be on our radar. I'd imagine he's just one of many on the list, though, and that he wouldn't be our first choice. Or to put it another way, we probably want a player with the attributes of Lee Gregory, but hopefully we end up with one that's better than Lee Gregory. TomG
Surely there must be younger options out there and available? Let's not go back to signing 30+ year olds on stupid contracts!

Im sure our coaching staff will know players.
RamFan13
A few seasons ago would of happily taken him, concerning if genuine as we’ve just got rid of one our best strikers since I’ve been watching Derby... to being linked with Gregory. tomsdubs
He fits the profile though doesn't he? Cocu wants a hold up man that is also agile and comfortable on the ball, more of an all rounder than maybe Martin was.

He fits the mould of the striker I expect us to bring in. I would very much prefer a younger/better option.
