Is it that or injury?

He joined them as 5th choice CF iirc (they play 2 up top)

Even though h'd have been 5th choice here (Kazim, Waghorn, Gregory, Stretton) and mostly competing for just 1 spot it made sense for him to go 'somewhere'. Maybe Stevenage was the only offer? Unfortunately with our injuries he most certainly would have got more gametime staying.

He also looked bright in the last few cameos he played for Derby. Shame he hasn't been around these last few weeks.

As good as Waghorn's looked (sorry Angie).

Has he got another season on his contract?

True. He has some pace and presence. Don't recall which game, but he came on late and crunched someone or body checked them in a way which indicated he has the necessary edge to compete. I'd have been happier if he's have scored or something but hey, our first team don't do that much. How would you describe him Angie? Also not sure how long left on his contract?

Contract ends this summer. Doubt we'll extend it to be honest.

In football manager terms, he's a 'pressing forward. Similar in style to Nugent under Lampard
