I wouldnt like whoever wrote this article to do any business plan for me....

Takes into account no outgoings for products purchased, counts them as full profit, also no allowance for those who took ramstv subscriptions, discounts on next year and so on....

Staff furloughed.....policing on match day....

Exactly!

Our pies contain only the choicest cuts of wagyu beef flown in from Japan, the finest pastry made in Mandelhörnchen, Germany, and the gravy is made to order one pie at a time by Gordon Ramsay.

So we're losing £192.50 on every pie, so we're actually saving money during lockdown.

At least that's how I remember them when I was living back home.

Can’t see how that survey makes sense. If our average attendance is higher than Leeds and ticket price higher, then how can they have lost more money.

Wrong information and wrong calculations surely.

Leeds fans eat ten pies per fan per match day

By Gordon Ramsey?

Hope he wears a facemask with a swear filter!

In the Premier League the fans are a complete irrelevance.

At Championship level and below though it will require 1 of 2 things to happen:-

1 - EFL sorts out the tv deal

2 - Player wages take the hit

Unfortunately cannot see either happening.

The EFL TV deal is the 8th most valuable domestic football TV deal in the world - higher than MLS, Scotland, Holland and Portugal both in terms of gross value and per match. It only looks poor compared to the Premier League.

Looks like they're seriously going for option 2 though!
