This is a cheap article which seems to use fan attendance only.

Ignores the commercial income that PP brings in completely for instance.

Not only that, are they seriously saying our average attendance was higher than Leeds? Has ours really been 26,727 v Leeds 25,321?

It may not be significant but what about season ticket holders (most of the bigger clubs have a large number of such fans) that may have forfeited part (or all) of their refund in lieu of watching games on TV?

Not sure where they got this "business recovery expert" from. A bloke down the pub with a fag packet I reckon.

Sith Happens

I wouldnt like whoever wrote this article to do any business plan for me....

Takes into account no outgoings for products purchased, counts them as full profit, also no allowance for those who took ramstv subscriptions, discounts on next year and so on....

Staff furloughed.....policing on match day....

It all seems a bit of a guess based on nothing more than average crowd size.

I do wonder, though, how many teams are going to get 12 point deductions next season.

Even the average crowd sizes they've used must be flawed unless there are just typos.

The question is how many of those fans will comeback regularly to watch football again post Covid for all sorts of reasons.

I think most will eventually when they realise they can't waste their lives.
