The Academy is the one bright ray of sunshine at the club during this very, very gloom and doom laden time.

Keep it up lads and thank you all giving us supporters  something to cheer about.

I’ve kind of given up on the first team and I’m just pretending premier league 2 is the highest echelon of football and all the rest doesn’t exist.

the games are free to watch, we play great football, we win against big clubs, we’re top of the league. What’s not to like about that?

A 'Derby u-23' side hammered Huddersfield 5-1 according to this report, which helpfully mentions no actual Derby players

A young Huddersfield Town B Team were given a tough test against Derby County on Tuesday afternoon.

Danny Schofield’s side featured a number of Under-19s and Under-17s players, who came up against a Rams side featuring some more experienced players.

The sides shared most of the general play, but Derby showed a real clinical edge to run out as comprehensive winners.

The Young Terriers found themselves a goal down just seven minutes in, when Derby’s striker shot low into the bottom right from outside the area...

And so it goes on. No names no pack drill.

The U18s suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Stoke. The Stoke keeper was sent off for a foul after Rogers rounded him.

It was a pretty young side with 6 first year scholars named in the squad with a further 3 U16s on the bench.

Very strange highlights of this game. Don't know what's going on with the music!

An Academy team is playing a game against England U19s at St George's Park.

Obviously we have great  links with the England setup generally, but I like that those youngsters who feel they have been overlooked will have an opportunity to put on a display in front of the England coaching staff.
