I can only think they expected it to be as per the TT at the Vuelta last year, where Roglic put a minute plus in to Pogacar. Difference was though, that was stage 10, and after a rest day. This was at the end of 3 weeks of one of the toughest parcours in a long time. Simply nothing will ever out do the 89 finish. Just the images of Fingon bouncing off the barriers, Phil Ligget voice, Lemond’s face, etc. An American beating a Frenchman by eight second after coming back after 2 years our from a near death shouting accident, come on, Pogacar is good, but not that good.
