Sean
Cardiff City Stadium Tuesday 14th July 2020 - 19:45 BST Phillip Cocu's 50th game in charge of the mighty Rams is a big one as we play 6th placed Cardiff City to keep our playoff hopes alive. Our last visit to Wales brought a huge away win, so will this be the case again on Tuesday? Do we dare to dream? I think we're going to win this one. Quote me, screenshot me, @ me. Ghost of Clough
The one obvious change. Keep the rest the same. Holmes returns to the bench with Jozefzoon missing out. Roos Bogle Evans Clarke Lowe Bird Rooney Knight Sibley Lawrence Martin Subs: Ravas, Davies, Forsyth, Buchanan, JBrown, Shinnie, Holmes, Whittaker, Trialist
Tamworthram
Almost one of those rare occasions, an actual must win (or at least must not lose) game. Lose and we'll be 6 points behind, only 6 points still to play for and a goal difference at least 6 worse than Cardiff. 666, could it be an omen? Richard246
You could make a strong case for 3 at the back
JustOneBiblicalKazim
Roos J. Brown Evans Clarke Lowe Bird Rooney (C) Sibley Zoon Lawrence Knight Subs- Ravas, Bogle, Davies, Buchanan, Shinniesta, Holmes (if fit), Whittaker, Martin, Trialist - I feel sorry for Hamer with what’s happened, but his recent performances have been inexcusable. - Bogle hasn’t been great recently and we don’t have many options there, so we might as well try Jordan. - We need to start a winger, of any sort, anything will do. - Martin could do with a rest, and I’m keen to see Lawrence in a false 9 sort of role. DCFC_Sloth
There’s a few suggestions of changes to three at the back and putting Ravas in goal, but I think changes like that are far too big. We don’t have enough time to successfully implement a change in formation and putting a goalkeeper in with 0 first team games seems a recipe for disaster. Swapping Roos for Hamer might be a good move especially if Hamer’s confidence is gone. Other than that, the team and style should, and will likely, remain the same. The side that played against Brentford should have enough to get past Cardiff, but it’s going to be tough but we showed enough in the first half on Saturday to suggest we can get through this one. Millenniumram
Roos Bogle Davies Clarke Lowe Rooney Brown Knight Sibley Jozefzoon Martin Roos in for Hamer because the latter fundamentally can’t do his job in terms of, you know, keeping the ball out the net. Davies in for an extra bit of physicality against their thugs. Bird looked in need of a rest the other day imo, so Brown comes in to give him a game off after a really busy schedule. And then Jozefzoon in for the banter.
