Carson is more or less already gone. Mitchell will be leaving, considering his age and how he’s fallen behind Ravas in the pecking order. I wouldn’t be surprised if Barnes and Yates are also let go. That leaves Roos and Ravas in the first team (I expect one of these to go out - loan or permanent), with Foster and Halwax in the U23s having stepped up from the U18s. Maybe he was thinking of the eponymous dutch sweeper of the 1970s Ruud Krol. Out of contract, could play the sweeper role well. Might be a touch slow at getting down to shots (bit like Shilts) ?
